Role Overview
This position involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, and sorting packages within the facility. It requires physical ability to lift up to 70 lb and handle parcels weighing up to 150 lb with appropriate equipment. The role demands good interpersonal skills and the ability to complete mandatory training and certifications.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Handle freight by loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting within the installation.
- Operate in a Windows PC environment and perform recurring tasks efficiently.
- Complete all required training, tests, and maintain certifications.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of freight operations and customs regulations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work safely and effectively.
- Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (maximum two infractions or minor accidents in the past 24 months) if driving is required.
Additional Information
- Pay rate: $21.50.
- Work days include Monday to Saturday.
- Must pass all training, tests, and driver evaluations if applicable.
