The opportunity
We’re hiring a Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. In this role, you’ll install and service HVAC systems and ductwork across commercial, industrial, and residential projects in Winnipeg, surrounding areas, and Northern Manitoba. This is a hands-on position for a skilled sheet metal professional who can work independently and collaboratively while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safe work practices.
What you’ll do
- Install and service HVAC systems, sheet metal, and ductwork.
- Lay out, measure, mark, cut, bend, straighten, and fit sheet metal.
- Weld sheet metal components and finish seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and trade equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.

What you bring
- Journeyperson Certificate in Sheet Metal, including completion of the apprenticeship, technical training, and exams.
- At least two years of sheet metal installation experience.
- Experience with HVAC installation, ductwork, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet physical demands, and contribute effectively in a diverse team environment.
Work conditions
- Full-time, permanent position,
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday to Sunday; overtime and weekends as needed.
- Shift is 21 days on 7 days off rotation (subject to change).
- Travel to project locations is required, including occasional overnight stays.
- Work may take place indoors, outdoors, and on construction sites with noise, trade-related hazards, and irregular hours.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and wear required personal protective equipment.
