Cognitron Robotics is hiring part-time installers and service engineers to support the rollout of the BOTINKIT OMNI AI Commercial Cooking Robot across commercial kitchens. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on technical professionals who want to work with next-generation kitchen automation and earn an extremely competitive payout.
Current openings – 3 in Greater Toronto, 2 in Greater Vancouver, 1 each in Montreal and Calgary.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, commission, program and test BOTINKIT OMNI systems in restaurants, hotels, central kitchens, and foodservice operations.
· Provide on-site service, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer support.
· Train kitchen teams on basic operation, care, and safe use of the equipment.
· Coordinate with Cognitron Robotics for installation schedules, service reports, and parts requirements.
Ideal Candidates
Diploma or degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial automation Students Welcome
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, robotics, appliances, HVAC, or field service is preferred. Basic Software knowledge is preferred.
- Comfortable working directly with customers in fast-paced commercial environments.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work flexible part-time hours.
- Willingness to travel locally for installations and service calls.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial automation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of safety standards and best practices for working with electromechanical systems and industrial environments.
- Ability to work on-site at customer facilities, travel as needed, and perform physically hands-on tasks such as lifting, mounting, and wiring equipment.
- Proven ability to work independently and in teams, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving technologies and procedures.
Training: Selected candidates may be required to attend a three-day product installation training in California.
Compensation: Cognitron Robotics offers an extremely competitive payout for qualified installers and service engineers per call basis. (Average $1000/Day)
