Salesforce Business Analyst (FSC / Service Cloud)
About The Role
As a
Salesforce Business Analyst, you will make an impact by partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective Salesforce solutions that support business objectives and drive operational efficiency. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce delivery team and work collaboratively with business users, architects, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
In This Role, You Will
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business processes, identify pain points, and define solution requirements.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Service Cloud, and related Salesforce products.
- Author user stories aligned to business requirements and map them to Salesforce features and functionality.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC while supporting backlog management, sprint planning, UAT, release activities, and ongoing process optimization initiatives.

What you need to have to be considered
- Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, particularly Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Service Cloud.
- Experience conducting stakeholder workshops and facilitating discussions to capture business needs and process improvements.
- Ability to define business processes, business rules, data requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery processes including backlog management, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release activities.

Salary And Other Compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $78,000 - $120,000 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
