Columbia Basin Trust is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of various Delivery of Benefits programs supporting environmental, social and economic well-being in the Columbia Basin region. This is a permanent, full-time position based out of any of our four offices: Castlegar, Cranbrook, Nakusp or Golden.
The salary range for this position is $80,200 – $94,200.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Delivery of Benefits, you will:
- Oversee funding initiatives and grant processes, including application intake, evaluation and funding recommendations.
- Develop and administer contracts, contribution agreements, and program budgets, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and responsible stewardship of funds.
- Facilitate the development, enhancement, and implementation of programs, policies, and strategies that support organizational priorities and community needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, partners, contractors, and stakeholders, providing guidance and support to help achieve shared objectives.
- Conduct research, analysis, and program evaluation activities to identify opportunities, measure impacts, and inform evidence-based decision-making.
- Coordinate public engagement activities, advisory committees, meetings, special events, and other initiatives that support program delivery and community outreach.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental, social or economic studies, planning, public policy, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in community development, program and policy development, analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience coordinating programs and projects.
- Knowledge of contract and grant management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of information management systems and budgeting processes.
- Understanding of regional and community issues, opportunities, and priorities within the Basin.
