Your Role
Depending on each client’s care plan, you will:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
- Support safe mobility, transfers, and prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands, including shopping and prescription pickups, using approved transportation arrangements.
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
- Offer respite support for family caregivers.
- Follow personalized care plans, document care provided, and promptly report changes or concerns.
What You Bring
- At least one year of caregiving experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting.

Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle (required).
- A clear criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
- Dependability and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the care team.
- A commitment to client dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.
