Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Architect with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure to design and lead scalable, secure, cloud-native enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Define scalable and secure cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Design solutions using Azure Data Lake (ADLS/ADLS Gen2), AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, and API Management.
- Drive cloud modernization, application migration, performance optimization, and scalability initiatives.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and technical best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, data, and business teams.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to development teams.
Required Skills
- 15+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Lake (ADLS/ADLS Gen2).
- Hands-on experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus/Event Hubs, Azure SQL, and API Management.
- Experience with Docker, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, resiliency, and performance.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong communication, architecture documentation, and technical leadership skills.
- Banking/Financial Services experience preferred.
