Connect Health was born out of a vision to transform healthcare into a more proactive, preventative, and systems-oriented model. Drawing on their extensive experience in emergency medicine, founders Dr. Lawrence Cheng and Dr. Ashley Riskin recognized the need for a paradigm shift - one that prioritizes root-cause resolution and whole-person health. Before founding Connect Health in 2011, both physicians completed advanced training through the renowned Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and became Certified Functional Medicine Practitioners. Their unique blend of conventional expertise and integrative insight continues to shape a new standard in personalized medicine for healthy aging.
