About the program
The Bilingual Women Entrepreneurship Program helps women start, stabilize, and grow their businesses. It includes incubation support, bootcamps, training, mentoring, and connections to markets and financing. Program activities are delivered in English and French.
The role
The Coordinator handles day-to-day delivery of the program. You will coordinate incubation activities, bootcamps, and training, and carry out core project-management tasks such as scheduling, participant support, partner coordination, and reporting. Strategy, curriculum approval, and budget authority sit with the Program Director.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work plans, calendars, vendors, and event logistics.
- Support the incubation cycle: outreach, applications, onboarding, mentoring schedules, milestone tracking, and demo or pitch logistics.
- Organize bootcamps and training: registration, materials, trainers, venues or online platforms, and participant follow-up.
- Serve as a bilingual point of contact for entrepreneurs, mentors, trainers, and partners.
- Help with recruitment, information sessions, and cohort communications in English and French.
- Maintain attendance records, files, surveys, and inputs for internal and funder reports.
- Build and maintain working relationships with community and business-support partners.
- Support program quality and participant experience under the Director’s guidance.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, entrepreneurship, economic development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, entrepreneurship support, training, or a related role.
- Experience supporting workshops, cohorts, or small-business programs.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English and French, spoken and written.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and basic tracking or CRM tools.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and local travel.
Assets
- Experience working with women entrepreneurs.
- Facilitation or small-business advisory experience.
- Knowledge of local business supports, financing, or registration pathways.
- Experience in a nonprofit or funder-supported program.
