Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees environmental projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating internal teams and external partners. Day-to-day tasks include managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables; tracking progress; and ensuring work meets technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager communicates regularly with clients, prepares project documentation and status reports, and helps resolve issues related to logistics, expediting, and inspections. The role also involves identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and supporting continuous improvement in project execution and client service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to coordinate materials, services, and vendor deliverables effectively.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to support quality control, verify compliance, and document findings on project sites.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to oversee scheduling, transportation, and resource allocation for environmental projects.
- Relevant experience in environmental services, engineering, or construction project delivery is beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in environmental science, engineering, project management, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with project management software are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements is important.
