Position Overview: The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee watermain relining (CIPP, structural lining, or similar trenchless methods) projects from planning through execution and closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and has a strong understanding of underground infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple watermain relining projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Coordinate with municipalities, consultants, subcontractors, and internal field crews
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for senior management and clients
- Address and resolve project challenges, risks, and change orders
- Attend site meetings and conduct site visits as required
- Manage project documentation, permits, and approvals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction, underground utilities, or trenchless technology
- Experience with watermain relining, pipe rehabilitation, or similar infrastructure projects is a strong asset
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- PMP designation or equivalent is an asset
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Familiarity with Ontario municipal standards and regulations
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints

Working Conditions
