We are recruiting for an Divisional Controller who will drive financial performance, provide actionable insights, and partner with business leaders to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will provide counsel and support for a key division.
In this role, you will translate financial data into insights for senior leadership. You will be analyzing the market as well as profitability by customer, product, product mix, new deals and service groupings. The role supports, monitors and measures the operations with analysis, advice and tools to optimize performance. You will also assist in the testing of the risk/control matrix as well as ensuring compliance to group policies and accounting standards (IFRS).
The successful candidate will have at least 5-10 years of relevant operational business partnering, profitability analysis and full-cycle finance experience within industry, preferably with a CPA designation. You are a confident user of analytic tools and have a working knowledge of Power BI. Critically, you will be able to demonstrate track record of driving change in your previous roles, influencing stakeholders and striving for operational excellence. This company operates a hybrid policy at their west-Toronto HQ.
