Position Summary:
We are currently seeking Mobile Patrol & Static Tactical Guard to join our growing team. This role involves working in a hybrid capacity, with assignments primarily in retail and corporate environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing theft, mitigating risk, and enhancing overall safety.
Responsibilities:
- Implement retail loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Prevent organized retail crime and internal theft
- Conduct physical security and risk assessments
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems
- Liaise with internal teams and law enforcement as needed
- Prepare clear and concise incident and shift reports
- Maintain detailed security logs and investigative records
- Support emergency response and crisis management protocols
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Valid Ontario Security Guard and/or Private Investigator License (no restrictions)
- Certified in First Aid & CPR Level C + AED
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check
- Eligible to work full-time in Canada (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Personal vehicle or reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/French or other languages)
- Use of Force certification (Baton/Handcuff)
- Familiarity with Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, Mental Health Act, and other relevant legislation
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance for designated sites
- Must have own vehicle (reliable)
