New Patient Coordinator to our
STO Orthodontists team in Scarborough, Ontario. This is a replacement position within our established orthodontic team.
The New Patient Coordinator is an extended representation of our doctors and practice. It is a key member of the administrative team, accountable for creating positive patient experiences, managing patient files, and ensuring the optimization of patient flow.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- The primary responsibility of this individual is being the first contact (usually by phone) with prospective new patients for triage and priming them for successful conversion of leads prior to their in-office visit.
- Scheduling consultations, discussing their dental concerns, and recording the information on an intake form
- Corresponding with dental offices on behalf of patients to request x-rays etc.
- Contacting insurance companies to verify orthodontic coverage.
- Verify intake forms have been completed in advance of the visit.
- Reviewing the steps to expect in the upcoming in-office consultation process.
- General support with all admin duties
Where you will be working/other important information: - You will be working at both of our locations:
- Scarborough Town Centre: Mondays 10am-3pm, Tuesdays-Thursdays 10am-6pm, Fridays 9:30am-2:30pm
- West Hill: Mondays (1-2 per month) and Thursdays 8am-4:30pm
The Teammate We’re Looking For
- 1 year of administration experience within a dental office setting (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
- Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
