We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of a significant paid acquisition portfolio for a client in Calgary, AB. This is a hands-on role for a performance marketer who is equally comfortable setting strategy and working directly within Meta and Google to launch, optimize and scale campaigns. You’ll manage substantial media investment and use performance data to make decisions around audiences, creative, budgets and channel mix.
The Role
- Lead paid acquisition across Meta and Google, with opportunities to test additional channels
- Manage significant monthly media budgets with accountability for CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion and revenue
- Develop media plans aligned with broader business and growth objectives
- Continuously optimize campaigns, audiences, bidding, creative and budget allocation
- Build and manage structured creative and performance testing
- Partner with creative and digital teams on advertising concepts, landing pages and conversion optimization
- Monitor attribution and tracking and translate performance data into clear recommendations
- Communicate results, opportunities and priorities to senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing/media buying experience
- Advanced expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
- Experience managing six-figure monthly media spend
- Strong understanding of paid acquisition, conversion funnels, attribution and CRO
- Demonstrated success improving acquisition efficiency and scaling campaigns
- Strong analytical skills combined with good creative instincts
- Commercially minded and comfortable connecting media performance to business results
- Highly autonomous, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
- Genuinely enjoys being hands-on in the platforms. It is not a traditional brand marketing role or a position focused solely on high-level media strategy.
