Job Description
We’re building a pool of talented freelancers we can call on as projects come up on our team. If your work is a fit, we’ll reach out to discuss Critical Mass and current or future project needs.
Who We’re Looking For
Copywriters who can move between concept and execution, from big-idea headlines and scripts to social copy, web content and long-form. You know how to find a brand’s voice and stay in it.
Designers (graphic, digital, brand, motion) with strong typography, layout and systems thinking. Bonus if you’re comfortable building out campaigns across formats or working within established brand guidelines.
Art Directors who can own the visual side of a concept from idea through production, partner closely with copy, and guide designers, photographers or illustrators toward a shared vision.
Creative Directors who can lead teams, shape strategy-driven ideas, present confidently to stakeholders, and keep work sharp from brief to launch.
What You Bring
- A portfolio that shows your thinking, not just your finished work
- Professional experience in your discipline (agency, in-house or freelance)
- Comfort working on tight timelines, taking feedback, and collaborating with people you may have just met
- Clear communication about scope, availability and deadlines
- Adobe CC, Figma, After Effects, etc
$60-90 CAD/ Hour
