The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, Audit, you will play a key leadership role within our Audit practice. You will lead complex audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, mentor high-performing teams, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to the continued evolution of our practice.
You will join Crowe BGK at an exciting time as we reimagine how audit work is delivered. Crowe BGK has announced a partnership with Fieldguide and CPA Canada and is set to become the first accounting firm in Canada to adopt Fieldguide’s AI-native platform for assurance engagements.

Your knowledge of different industries, clients, and audit methodologies will help shape how we use these tools while keeping audit quality at the center of every engagement.
You will be Accountable for:
- Lead audit, review, and other assurance engagements for private companies, not-for-profit organizations, and other organizations.
- Manage engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, engagement execution, file review, client communication, reporting, and final delivery.
- Apply professional standards and firm methodology while maintaining the highest standards of audit quality, documentation, professional judgment, and efficiency.
- Coach, supervise, and develop Managers, Senior Accountants, and team members through mentoring, performance conversations, and ongoing feedback.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and become a valued advisor to management teams and business owners.
- Identify practical recommendations that improve client processes, internal controls, financial reporting, and overall business performance.
- Leverage audit technology, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve engagement execution, team effectiveness, and the client experience.
- Contribute to practice development through proposals, staff training, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, curiosity, and professional excellence.
- Help shape the future of audit delivery at Crowe BGK.

- Experience serving privately held companies, owner-managed businesses, not-for-profit organizations, or growth-oriented organizations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, competing priorities, deadlines, and client expectations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is strongly preferred for our Montréal practice.
- Demonstrated passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing future leaders.
- Curiosity about technology, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and process improvement.
- A growth mindset that embraces innovation and continuous learning.
