Tasks

Assess the current status of a given area for sustainable forest management

Conduct a post-cut assessment to determine whether the residual forest that was forecasted during the tree marking audit matches the conditions after the harvest is complete
-
Conduct forest inventory cruises, surveys and field measurement
-
Conduct ongoing inspections to ensure the development of good quality forest crops
-
Display spatial data using Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

Help forest managers in planning access routes and forest roads

Monitor the effectiveness of silvicultural practices
-
Supervise forest inventory cruises, surveys and field measurement
