CUSTIMOO
Graphic Designer - Sportswear & Brand
Vaughan, ON •Hybrid (3 days in office) • Full-time
Great design makes a product feel real before it exists. At Custimoo, it also makes it orderable. The jerseys, uniforms, and team gear you design here don't stop at a mockup: they become live, customizable products that teams, brands, and dealers configure and order through our platform, and then wear on the ice, the diamond, and the pitch.
If you love bold sports graphics, care about how a design survives sublimation and embroidery, and are curious about where apparel design and technology meet, keep reading.
About Custimoo
Custimoo is a technology company founded in Denmark in 2019, specializing in custom sportswear. Our digital platform lets brands and authorized dealers design, order, and manage custom apparel, from hockey and baseball jerseys to socks, nameboards, and full team kits, without the back-and-forth that usually slows custom orders down. We're a small, growing team with a global outlook, and our Vaughan office is where much of our North American work happens.
The Role
You'll be the designer who makes our products look the part, both physically and on screen. That means designing apparel graphics and team kits that go into production, building the product visuals and mockup templates that customers see in our platform, and shaping the Custimoo brand across marketing and digital channels.
You'll work directly with customers and dealers to turn their ideas into finished designs, and with our product and marketing teams to make sure what you create looks as good in the configurator as it does on the field. You report to VP Sales and work our team in Canada.
What You'll Actually Do
- Design team apparel and gear: jerseys, uniforms, socks, nameboards, crests, and full kits for hockey, baseball, and other sports, taking each one from concept through production-ready artwork
- Build and maintain the product mockups, renders, and design templates that power our platform, so customers can see and customize your work in real time
- Own Custimoo's visual brand: catalogs, product launches, presentations, campaign visuals, and the look of our digital channels
- Create original artwork, patterns, typography, and logo treatments tailored to sports and team identity
- Develop seasonal design themes and style guides that keep our products and customer brands current with what teams actually want to wear
- Work with customers, dealers, and our production partners to get designs approved and produced right the first time
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience in sportswear, team apparel, fashion, or consumer goods, or a portfolio that proves it
- A strong portfolio of apparel or gear design, brand identity work, and at least one project you carried from concept to finished product
- Expert Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with InDesign for print work
- A solid understanding of sublimation, embroidery, screen printing, and how apparel production affects what you design
- Comfort moving between production artwork, brand assets, digital design, and marketing materials in the same week
- Clear communication with customers and colleagues, and the organization to keep several projects moving at once
Nice to have: experience with 3D garment or product rendering (CLO, Browzwear, Blender, KeyShot, or similar), motion or social content skills, and a degree in Graphic or Fashion Design.
Who Thrives Here
- You're a sports fan, or at least you get why a team cares deeply about how its jersey looks
- You sweat the details on a crest but still ship on deadline
- You like working directly with customers and hearing "that's exactly it" when the design lands
- You're curious about tools and technology, and excited by the idea of your designs living inside a product, not just a PDF
- You want ownership: you'd rather shape the visual direction than execute someone else's
Why Custimoo
- Your work gets worn. Teams across [North America / Canada / Europe] play in gear you designed
- Your work ships as product. Your mockups and templates are what thousands of customers see and customize on our platform
- Real creative ownership, from the first sketch to the finished garment and the brand that sells it
- A small team where your voice carries, in a company with a Danish head office and an international customer base
