Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong Snowflake experience to join our team in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, front-end development, REST APIs, and Snowflake.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable enterprise applications while working closely with business, data, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Work with Snowflake for data storage, data integration, querying, and analytics.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
- Integrate applications with Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and data-related issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Core Java / Java 8+.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies.
- Strong Snowflake experience.
- Excellent SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Experience with JSON, XML, and enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
