Daixta is building the intelligence layer for credit decisions in commercial lending surfacing the financial behavior signals that lenders currently miss.
We're pre-revenue with our first customer's pricing proposal in motion.
Founder background:
8+ years in banking, credit, and equipment finance.
The Role
You'll be the founding engineer at Daixta. You'll build the product end-to-end with the founder from prototype to first paying customer.
The work is concrete: parse bank statements (Python +FastAPI + Postgres), build a deterministic rule engine for transaction classification, compute audit-trail-backed financial metrics, and deliver decision-ready intelligence to brokers and lenders.
You'll use AI generated code as a force multiplier. You're not ust coding you're directing AI tools to build production systems with audit-trail discipline.

4-8 years building production Python systems
Strong with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker
Have used LLMs (Claude, GPT-4) in production code, beyond chatbot interfaces
Comfortable with audit-trail and financial data work
Builder mindset you ship product, you don't deliver to a spec
4+ hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time
Bonus
Experience in fintech, lending, or financial document intelligence
Experience building rule engines or state machines
Open-source contributions you can point to
You've been a founding or early engineer at a startup before
