Role Description
The Team Lead role at Danier is a full-time, on-site position based in Mississauga, ON. The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, well-organized sales floor. This role leads and motivates the store team to deliver exceptional customer service, meet sales targets, and promote Danier’s brand values and product knowledge.
The Team Lead provides coaching and feedback to team members, supports hiring and onboarding, and helps schedule staff to meet business needs. In addition, the role collaborates with management on inventory control, loss prevention, and implementing company initiatives to enhance the overall in-store experience.
Qualifications
- Experience leading retail or customer-facing teams, with skills in supervision, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities, including relationship building, product education, and upselling or cross-selling.
- Operational skills related to cash handling, point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in fashion, apparel, or accessories retail is an asset; interest in leather and luxury materials is highly beneficial.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
