Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up of meat by-products and waste on a variety of routes and shifts. You will be responsible for loading the material on to the truck. This position is for a relief driver who is flexible and available for a variety of shifts. Some heavy lifting will be required. We are looking for drivers with a passion for driving and a commitment to the environment to join our growing team!
Position Tasks And Responsibiities
- Responsible for the pick-up of raw ingredients on a variety of routes and shifts
- Territory-300 KM radius around the Dundas plant
- Familiarity within the Province of Ontario
- Team oriented and willing to assist within all routes
- Customer Service Oriented
- Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulic equipment is an asset
- Valid AZ License with a minimum of two years truck driving experience
- Clean drivers/CVOR and abstract
- Flexible to work overtime and a variety of shifts as required
We Offer
- AZ Driver rate: $34.04 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours/week
- DZ Driver rate: $33.10 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours/week
- 50 to 60 hours per week with optional overtime available on weekends
