Responsibilities
Build, fabricate, maintain, and repair production tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, and prototype equipment according to blueprints, instructions, and required tolerances. Troubleshoot press and die issues to reduce downtime, maintain accurate work records, follow safety and quality standards, and collaborate as a team member.
Requirements
Requires a Tool & Die Certificate, a Grade 12 diploma, and two years of die-building experience. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and standard drawings, operate standard tool-room machinery, and have experience with progressive and hand transfer dies; transfer die experience is an asset.
