AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is currently hiring a GMP Receiver to join our GMP Processing team within our cannabis production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and comfortable working in a regulated production environment. The GMP Receiver plays an important role in supporting drying operations, product quality, inventory accuracy and compliant cannabis handling.
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Thursday
- Steady afternoon shift: 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Flexibility to work the day shift may be required based on operational needs
- $19.00/hour to start
- Increase to $20.00/hour following successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
- Additional $2.00/hour afternoon shift premium

Responsibilities
- Prepare dry rooms ahead of receiving cannabis product
- Monitor dry room conditions and product throughout the drying process
- Receive product and verify quantities, lot numbers, pack lists, manifests and supporting documentation
- Weigh received product and maintain accurate weight documentation
- Metal detect received product as required
- Transfer product to appropriate locations, including dry rooms and vault storage
- Place product into totes or C-Vaults as required
- Create tote logs and maintain accurate receiving and transfer records
- Perform scheduled aeration and mixing of product containers to support proper curing and product quality
- Conduct moisture content testing and accurately document results
- Reweigh product following required drying periods and complete related documentation
- Support fresh-to-dry product conversion activities
- Enter product quantities and inventory information accurately into AMPLE and other ERP systems
- Initiate and complete batch records, daily entries, checklists and other required documentation
- Monitor product for potential contamination or quality concerns
- Sanitize equipment and production areas
- Work collaboratively with Quality personnel and the GMP team
- Identify and report potential hazards, contamination risks, inventory discrepancies or production issues
- Follow all applicable SOPs, GMP requirements, quality standards and safety procedures
- Support other production activities as required
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records
- Good problem-solving skills
- Basic math and English language skills
- Knowledge of GMP and cannabis production processes considered an asset
- Previous experience with product receiving, documentation, inventory tracking or moisture testing considered an asset
- Ability to safely handle, weigh and transfer cannabis product
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 kg/55 lbs and perform physical production activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in an environment requiring PPE and exposure to strong odours, humidity and other production-related conditions
