Original job description

Role: Data Analyst (Banking Products/Treasury domains)

Location : Toronto ON(4 Days Onsite/Week)

Contract

Experience and Skills

Strong technical data management capabilities across enterprise datasets, including data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, source-to-target mapping, and support for modern cloud-based data platforms and end-to-end data flows.
Strong technical capability to support data quality and business validation, including analysis of mapping and transformation rules, control and reconciliation results, root-cause investigation, and partnership with technology teams to resolve defects.
Experience establishing disciplined testing practices for large-scale business and data initiatives, including test planning, test-case design, requirements traceability, execution coordination, defect triage, regression testing, and test evidence.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive execution, and deliver tangible business impact.

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues. -5 years
Strong knowledge of banking products and Treasury domains, including exposure to wholesale and/or retail businesses and use cases such as investments, and Treasury data products modeling. -5 years
Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex data initiatives in banking or financial services, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions and measurable outcomes -5 years
Experience with project testing discipline – 5 years
