Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Type: 3 days/week onsite (hybrid)
Location: Mississauga, ON / Toronto, ON
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Java Developers and Technical Architects to design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications. Candidates should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and backend development, with working knowledge of Angular or React.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Build REST APIs and integrate upstream/downstream systems.
- Develop frontend components using Angular or React, as required.
- Work with Kafka, multithreading, and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Modernize legacy applications and develop new solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture, and code reviews as applicable.
Required Skills:
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and system integration.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Apache Kafka, AWS/GCP, and Python.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or Devin.
- Application architecture and direct business stakeholder engagement.
