About the role
The construction miner is part of the mining operations team. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the construction and maintenance of the mine infrastructure.
Essential Duties
- Carry out all work related to the construction of mine infrastructure
- Apply instructions on plans and specifications
- Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety
Training & Experience
- Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience
- Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7
- General explosives permit
- Bilingualism, French & English (asset)
- Welding and oxygen cutting competency card
Working Conditions
- Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montréal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
- Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
