As an international innovation partner, we offer unmatched knowledge and tools that empower businesses to lead and succeed in an ever-evolving landscape. Our commitment to helping large enterprises innovate in the most effective way possible has made us a top global player, renowned for our client-centric, outcome-based approach.
With operations across Canada and the US, we are entering our scale stage and looking for highly qualified, driven people to join us at Disruptive Edge and become part of a team dedicated to transforming businesses. Here, you'll have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects, drive tangible results, and make a significant impact in the industry.
We're hiring an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operations that help our team do its best work. Starting with our Toronto office and supporting our overall operation, you'll work closely with our operations leadership to keep our spaces, equipment and employee logistics running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who notices what needs attention, takes ownership and follows through. You'll be as comfortable getting a new hire's laptop ready as improving how we manage devices across the company. You'll use AI and automation to make things simpler and build practical systems that keep us moving as we grow.
What you'll do:
- Own the day-to-day running of our Toronto office, including supplies, vendors, facilities and coordination with our cleaning team.
- Set clear expectations for shared spaces and follow through with the team so meeting rooms and common areas stay organized, functional and ready to use.
- Manage the laptop and equipment lifecycle, including purchasing, setup, deployment, returns and secure storage. Keep accurate records of serial numbers, assignments and available inventory.
- Keep Wi-Fi, conference room AV and everyday workplace technology working. Troubleshoot common issues and coordinate specialist support when needed.
- Own onboarding and offboarding logistics with our people and IT teams, making sure equipment, access and workspace arrangements are handled on time.
- Help roll out and maintain operational systems such as device management tools, coordinating device enrollment, updates and secure reassignment or retirement with IT.
- Be the person people can count on to resolve operational issues, keep track of open items and close the loop without repeated follow-up.
- Use AI tools daily to organize information, automate routine work and improve how we operate. Keep processes clear, useful and easy to maintain.
- Build on what works in Toronto to support consistent operations across our Canadian and US offices as we grow.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, workplace operations or a similarly hands-on role, ideally in a growing company.
- A strong sense of ownership. You spot gaps, make a plan and see things through.
- Practical experience coordinating vendors, equipment and employee onboarding or offboarding.
- Confidence with technology, including setting up laptops, troubleshooting everyday issues and learning new systems. Experience with Rippling, Jamf or similar tools is a plus.
- The judgment and confidence to set expectations, hold people accountable and work well with colleagues at every level.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, particularly when handling equipment, access and sensitive employee or company information.
- Comfortable moving between immediate requests and improvements that prevent the same problems from recurring.
- Fluent and resourceful with AI tools, with a practical understanding of where automation saves time and where human judgment matters.
- A willingness to get into the details and do the work, alongside the ability to build simple systems that make everyone's day easier.
Working Conditions:
- Based in Toronto, in-office, to support the team and workplace.
- Initial focus on Toronto, with support for firm-wide operations as the role develops.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment.
Compensation:
- Annual base salary of CAD 55,000 - 70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
