Founded in 1960, Dot Foods is North America’s largest less-than-truckload consolidator in the food industry and one of the largest private, family-owned businesses in the U.S.

Robert and Dorothy Tracy built the company from the ground up in Mt. Sterling, Illinois, a small Midwestern town that’s still home to our corporate headquarters today. What began as a family operation has grown into something much bigger: a business that now delivers to all 50 states, more than 50 countries, and employs more than 4,000 people.

Our footprint has grown with us. In addition to our headquarters in Mt. Sterling, we operate 13 distribution centers across the U.S., a corporate sales office in St. Louis, Missouri, and two locations in Canada.
