Role Description This full-time, on-site Residential Cleaning Operations Supervisor role is based in Calgary, AB. The supervisor oversees daily residential cleaning operations, including scheduling teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring services are completed to company standards and client expectations. This role monitors quality of work through inspections, addresses client feedback, and implements improvements to cleaning processes and procedures. The supervisor trains and mentors cleaning staff on safety, equipment use, and best practices, and supports performance management and coordination of staffing levels. The role also manages supplies and inventory, collaborates with management on operational goals, and maintains accurate records related to jobs, time, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supervising cleaning or facilities teams in a residential or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and products, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle schedules, priorities, and multiple job sites.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, team members, and management.
- Capability to train, coach, and motivate staff, and to contribute to performance evaluations.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., scheduling software, mobile apps, spreadsheets) for tracking operations.
- Ability to work on-site, move between locations in Calgary, AB, and perform occasional physical tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience in cleaning, hospitality, or facilities services is an asset.
