The Construction & Commissioning Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
- Support quality activities throughout construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and project closeout
- Develop and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality plans, inspection checklists, and site quality records
- Coordinate site inspections, customer witness points, audits, and acceptance activities
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and quality issue resolution
- Ensure quality documentation, test reports, commissioning records, and turnover packages are complete and contract compliant
- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, subcontractors, vendors, and customer representatives to resolve quality issues
The Construction & Commissioning Quality Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality, or a related technical field preferred
- Experience in Construction Quality, Commissioning Quality, Project Quality, Field Service, or heavy industrial environments
- Background within hydroelectric, power generation, EPC, heavy manufacturing, or project-based industries preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and quality management principles
- Experience with NCRs, CAPA, root cause analysis, audits, inspections, and turnover documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer-facing skills with the ability to travel extensively to project sites
