Eastcut is an offsite manufacturing hub advancing Modern Methods of Construction (MMC): the use of factory-controlled building systems to build faster, with tighter tolerances than traditional site work allows.
From our 60-acre low-carbon industrial campus in Trenton, N.S., we manufacture across multiple systems: volumetric modular units (fully finished 3D building modules), panelized wall and floor systems, and mass timber components using CLT and glulam, engineered wood products that cut embodied carbon and enable long-span, low-carbon structures. Each system is BIM-coordinated from design through delivery, so builds arrive site-ready with less rework and fewer surprises.
We're part of the Macklan Group family, working alongside construction partner DORA Construction and others as one integrated team, from early design through final handoff, which lets us solve problems most single-discipline manufacturers can't.
With Canadian-sourced lumber across our wood-based systems and a growing team of about 140 in manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, we're scaling to meet Atlantic Canada's demand for housing and infrastructure that's faster to build and lighter on the planet.
