About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Intern (Cost Controls) to support project controls and operations teams in monitoring project performance, tracking costs, analyzing financial data, and improving reporting processes across infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a student interested in project management, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business operations.
Seeking immediate hire for four or eight month internship.
Key Responsibilities – Cost Control & Project Performance Analysis
- Assist with project cost tracking and budget monitoring activities.
- Support preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Analyze project financial data and identify trends and variances.
- Track expenditures against approved budgets and schedules.
- Support month-end reporting and project performance reviews.
- Improve reporting tools, templates, and data management processes.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Collect, organize, and analyze project and operational data.
- Support business process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with reporting and data visualization.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Project Management, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong Power BI and dashboard skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Interest in project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and business operations.
Learning Opportunities
