Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Langley, BC. The Physiotherapist will assess client conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support recovery and functional improvement. Daily responsibilities include conducting initial assessments and follow-up appointments, documenting clinical findings and progress notes, and coordinating care with other healthcare and wellness professionals as needed. The role involves communicating clearly with clients about treatment goals, demonstrating proper techniques, and monitoring outcomes to adjust plans over time. The Physiotherapist is expected to uphold clinic protocols, maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Professional physiotherapy training and current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the appropriate regulatory body in British Columbia.
- Strong skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic exercise prescription.
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and track client progress using evidence-informed approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build rapport and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, time management, and maintaining accurate, confidential health records.
- Comfort working independently in a clinic setting while collaborating effectively with other health and wellness professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Experience in private practice or outpatient clinic settings is an asset; additional training in specialties such as sports rehabilitation, pelvic health, or chronic pain management is beneficial.
