THE OPPORTUNITY
Elevation Capital is building AI-first software products that transform how organizations hire talent and manage field operations.
As the AI Software Development Operations Manager, you will lead a small engineering team responsible for two AI-powered products: an AI video interview platform and a field sales platform. Reporting directly to the Product Owner, you will oversee engineering execution while remaining deeply involved in architecture, code reviews, and technical decision making.
This is a player-coach role where you will help shape the engineering culture, improve delivery processes, and ensure every release is stable, secure, and scalable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately five engineers across multiple products
- Own the complete software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, deployments, environments, secrets management, and rollback strategies
- Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational excellence
- Establish engineering standards around testing, code reviews, deployment quality, and production stability
- Review pull requests, pair program on complex technical challenges, and contribute code when required
- Partner with Product leadership on roadmap planning, technical strategy, and hiring
- Standardize architecture and engineering practices across multiple products
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering velocity, quality, and scalability
WHO YOU ARE
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with Python, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript
- Deep experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience leading engineering across multiple products or teams simultaneously
- Proven ability to improve software reliability, deployment pipelines, and engineering operations
- Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contribution
- Thrive in startup environments where ownership and execution matter
