Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC. This role is responsible for leading and growing a sales pipeline focused on operational technology solutions, including custom software, integration projects, and digital platforms. Day-to-day, the Sales Manager will prospect and qualify leads, conduct discovery meetings with prospective clients, and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape proposals and solution outlines. The role includes managing the end-to-end sales cycle, preparing and presenting demos and pitches, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM records. The Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, contribute to go-to-market strategies, support marketing initiatives, and build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, software, or consulting services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and CRM usage to maintain accurate records and forecasts.
- Ability to conduct structured discovery with business and technical stakeholders, understand operational challenges, and translate them into clear solution opportunities.
- Experience preparing and delivering client presentations, proposals, and demos, including contract negotiation and deal closing.
- Knowledge of operational technology domains such as ERP, CRM, WMS, OMS, TMS, integrations, and digital platforms is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with understanding workflows, processes, and business outcomes.
- Ability to work on-site in Vancouver, BC, collaborate closely with internal teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
