Position Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support and lead recruitment activities across the full candidate lifecycle. You will work closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, identify qualified candidates, and create a positive and consistent candidate experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, orientation, and handoff.
- Draft and update job descriptions based on role requirements and hiring-manager insights.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using appropriate sourcing channels and recruitment strategies.
- Use structured recruitment tools, such as scorecards and interview guides, to support consistent, equitable, and objective candidate evaluation.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, follow-ups, and offer/welcome emails.
- Partner with the Onboarding Specialist to ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection to onboarding.
- Identify recruitment challenges and recommend improvements to enhance candidate experience and hiring efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
- Provide regular recruitment updates to the Talent Acquisition Lead and actively participate in team meetings and syncs.
- Collaborate with other Talent Acquisition and People & Culture team members on recruitment initiatives and projects.
- Attend mandatory team meetings every Wednesdays.
Qualification and Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, or volunteer coordination.
- Familiarity with AI tools that can support recruitment and administrative tasks is an asset.
- Education or coursework in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Business, or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.

Commitment & Meetings : This is a part-time, unpaid volunteer role with a recommended commitment of 8–10 hours per week. The role requires participation in the weekly team meetings on Wednesdays
