Role & Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented student to join our team for the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to advancing engineering science within the scope of bulk materials handling. We are looking for a candidate who is currently enrolled in one of the following programs at an Ontario College or University:
- Bachelor of Social Science
- Bachelor of Arts
- Business Administration

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:
Office Admin Tasks (50%):
- Monitor and organize office supply closet
- Order office supplies
- Act as a backup for reception
- Collect mail and deliver inter-office mail
- Receive parcels at reception
- Stock onsite meeting spaces
- Light organization of shipping area (e.g., breaking down cardboard boxes)
- Organize Company vehicle maintenance
- Support with company events
Quality Management System and Office/Analytical Tasks (50%):
- Support the Document Control team with processing incoming/outgoing files, project drawing issues, and file management system ‘clean-up’.
- Assist with the management of the Codes and Standards and Catalogue and Pamphlets
- Advance the status of archive digitization.
- Work with the Quality Management System (QMS) team to publish new and revised policies, procedures, work instructions, and supporting QMS documents, and collaborate on continual improvement objectives.
- Support Process Improvement Committee (PIC) initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in one of the specified programs out lined above.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience with the Microsoft Power Suite (PowerBI), Power Automate, Power Apps) is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment.
