Senior AEM Cloud Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AEM Cloud Architect / Technical Lead with 8+ years of AEM experience, including 3+ years with AEM as a Cloud Service, to lead enterprise AEM transformation and migration from on-premises AEM 6.5 to AEM Cloud Service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service migration initiatives.
- Design and implement AEM templates, components, and OSGi services.
- Develop HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi configurations, Servlets, Schedulers, and Event Handlers.
- Design headless and omnichannel content delivery using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and GraphQL.
- Configure Cloud Manager pipelines and GitHub/BitBucket repository synchronization.
- Optimize AEM Dispatcher and CDN configurations for performance and reliability.
- Integrate AEM with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
- Support enterprise DAM implementations and AEM Sites integrations.
- Guide technical teams and establish AI-assisted development best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of AEM experience with 3+ years of AEM as a Cloud Service.
- At least one completed AEM 6.x → AEM Cloud Service migration.
- Expert knowledge of AEM Cloud Architecture, Cloud Manager, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong experience with HTL/Sightly, Clientlibs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Lit, ReactJS, and NextJS.
- Strong experience with OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, Schedulers, and Event Handlers.
- API integration experience with AEM.
- Headless content delivery using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and GraphQL.
- Enterprise DAM and multi-site architecture experience.
- Strong understanding of Dispatcher, reverse proxy, and load balancers.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot.

- Adobe Data Collection – Tags, WebSDK, MobileSDK, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and AEP.
- Adobe OpenAPI for AEM Assets and AEM Sites.
- AI tools within AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Modern CDN and performance optimization.
- CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
- Adobe I/O and event-driven integrations.
- AEM Developer or Architect certification.
