Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Coordinate receiving and storage of products in compliance with company standards.
- Labelling shipment loads, preparing Receiving area for scheduling deliveries.
- Assist with inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize space utilization and layout to improve efficiency.
- Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Partake regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Report any safety accidents and incidents promptly and thoroughly to Inventory Manager
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is an asset
Skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to lift and carry 60 lb objects, as needed
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday, perm FTE
- Saturday shifts may be required if the needs of the business dictate
Working Conditions: Warehouse environment, may require the ability to lift 60 lbs regularly, walking and sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and pulling boxes and inventory items, work boots are mandatory. Use of Pallet Jacks are required to manoeuvre shipment goods and skids through the warehouse. Forklift experience and current license is an asset.

Pay rate: $ 17.60 per hour for the first three months- once probation is completed increase hourly rate to $19.00 plus eligibility to participate in Encore’s group benefits plan with Manulife and the Group Retirement Savings Plan.
