THE ROLE
This isn’t a scheduling role built around call volume and a script. It’s about being the person clients and prospects experience real continuity through; from the first time they reach out, through the advisor handoff, and into the follow-up that makes sure nothing promised gets forgotten.
You’ll notice things a script never would. One connection, you're speaking with a business owner who’s skeptical because a past advisor over-promised. The next, a couple who wants more explanation than urgency, and you give them the time. You’ll remember the details that matter, like a wedding in June or a decision being made jointly with a spouse and keep records clean enough that nobody on the team has to ask a client to repeat themselves.
When a referral to one of Endeavour's partners is the right next step, an estate lawyer, a mortgage advisor, an insurance specialist, you make sure they already know the client's story and journey plan before the first call, and you check back in afterward instead of considering your job done the moment the introduction is made. None of that comes from a script. It comes from listening, and from keeping records updated so that nobody has to repeat themselves.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Understand why someone reached out and capture their real concern, not just their request.
- Qualify referral and concierge opportunities respectfully and schedule the right next conversation.
- Brief the advisor before every handoff so clients never have to repeat their story.
- Coordinate referrals across Endeavour Odyssey’s network of estate, tax, legal, and insurance professionals, and follow up to confirm the introduction landed well.
- Keep HubSpot (Client Relationship Management System) and client records clean and current, including how each client prefers to be contacted.
- Remember the details that make people feel known: a card after a hard year, a note sent because something was mentioned in passing, a referral handoff that feels personal instead of routine.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A post-secondary education (University or College).
- 1 to 3 years of professional or business experience.
- Hospitality experience with great communication skills (verbal and written) is a strong asset. You know how to make someone feel taken care of, not just served.
- The ability to read people quickly (guarded, rushed, curious, overwhelmed) and adjust instead of running one approach on everyone.
- Comfort speaking with business owners, executives, retirees, and multi-generational households, without being intimidated or overly formal.
- Strong organizational skills so nothing falls through: the right household, the right decision makers, the right follow-up, on time.
- Good judgment around privacy, including knowing when something belongs with a licensed advisor instead of you.
- No finance designation or sales background required. What matters most is judgment and follow-through.
ONE HONEST FILTER
You won't be measured on how many connections and calls you make. You won't be expected to run one script on every person who you connect with. You won't be pushing anyone who's told you no, and you'll be trusted to keep an accurate record of who wants no further contact. You need to organize a conversation intelligently and know exactly when to bring in someone licensed.
If your instinct is to move fast and get to a yes, this probably isn't your role. If your instinct is to listen first, read the room, and follow through quietly and consistently, this might be exactly it.
WHO WE ARE
Endeavour Odyssey is the coordinated professional-services network within the Endeavour Group of Companies (https://www.endeavour-group.ca). We bring CPA and tax, legal and estate, and wealth and insurance professionals together around a single individual or family, instead of leaving them to coordinate that network alone. Our clients span generations and stages of life: business owners, executives, retirees, and young families alike. The relationships we build aren’t transactions. They’re the thread that holds a household’s most important decisions together, often at the moments those decisions matter most.
WHAT WE OFFER
A top-of-market base salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive health benefits. A flexible work environment and an unlimited holiday policy, because we believe performance matters more than time in the seat. And a culture built on curiosity, growth, and getting things done together.
Ready to be the person clients trust with the moments that matter most? We invite you to “Be More” with us today.
