Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Operator role based in Aurora, ON. The CNC Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce components according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include selecting and installing tooling, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and running test pieces to verify accuracy. The role involves inspecting finished parts, recording measurements, and making necessary corrections to maintain quality standards. The CNC Operator will also perform basic machine maintenance, follow safety procedures, communicate production issues to supervisors, and collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in machine operation, including setup, adjustment, and safe use of CNC machinery.
- Experience in machining and milling, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong quality control skills, including part inspection, use of measurement tools, and documentation of results.
- Hands-on experience working with industrial machinery in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and correct machining issues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Previous CNC operator or machinist experience preferred; technical or vocational training in machining is an asset.
