About the Role
Data Engineer - DBT Cloud and Snowflake responsible for delivering high impact data projects, working with Snowflake, dbt Core/Cloud, AWS Cloud Technologies, and multiple programming languages to build performant, reusable, and maintainable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver over 10 high impact data projects from inception through warranty.
- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Snowflake, dbt Core/Cloud, and AWS Cloud Technologies.
- Develop and maintain code in multiple programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Work with relational databases including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Aurora.
- Utilize tools such as Snowsight and Streamlit.
- Write and optimize SQL, Python, Shell, and Terraform code with a strong focus on performance, reusability, and maintainability.
- Provide strong technical and business presentations.
- Identify and address gaps in data designs and processes with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Use orchestration tools like Zena and AWS Managed Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
- Thrive in fast paced, ambiguous, and high pressure environments.
- Communicate insights effectively using tools such as Qlik and SAP BusinessObjects.
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience delivering over 10 high impact data projects from inception through warranty.
- 5 years of Snowflake, dbt Core/Cloud, and AWS Cloud Technologies.
- 5 years of experience with coding in multiple programming languages such as Python and Java.
