The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Director, Respite and Behavioural Support. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home while remaining available for on-site support, assessments, training, and meetings as required.

What Will You Do?
- Transform Lives Through Evidence-Based Care: Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized Behaviour Support Plans that help people build skills, achieve goals, and live more independently.
- Design Meaningful Behaviour Supports: Create, implement, and refine evidence-based interventions that are practical, person-centered, and aligned with funder and accreditation standards.
- Own Your Clinical Caseload: Provide ongoing clinical oversight, monitor progress, analyze outcomes, and adjust strategies to ensure individuals receive the highest quality support.
- Empower Teams to Succeed: Train, coach, and consult with frontline staff and leaders, providing the tools and confidence they need to implement behaviour support plans effectively.
- Drive Results with Data: Turn behavioural data into actionable insights, measure intervention effectiveness, and prepare clear reports that demonstrate progress and guide decision-making.
- Champion Collaboration: Partner with families, Program Managers, community professionals, and funding representatives to create coordinated support strategies and successful transitions across services.
- Advocate for Dignity and Inclusion: Promote positive behaviour supports, least restrictive practices, and person-centered approaches that uphold dignity, choice, and belonging.
- Shape the Future: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, accreditation activities, and the continued growth of Behavioural Support Services across Entrust.
What Are We Looking For?
- Clinical Expertise: Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) designation in good standing with demonstrated experience conducting assessments and developing individualized behaviour support programs.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Strong understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), positive behaviour supports, and person-centered intervention strategies.
- Training & Consultation Skills: Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting frontline teams to achieve consistent and effective plan implementation.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in establishing data collection systems, analyzing outcomes, and making informed clinical recommendations.
- Collaborative Approach: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with families, funders, leadership teams, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Advocacy & Integrity: Commitment to positive behaviour support, human rights, dignity, autonomy, and least restrictive practices.
- Organizational Excellence: Strong documentation, time-management, and case management skills with the ability to meet multiple competing priorities.
- Adventurous Traveler: Comfortable working across Alberta, with a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Employment Conditions: Job offers are contingent on providing proof of your legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Required Documents: As part of the hiring process, you will need to submit the following documents, obtained within the last 2 months:
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector.
- Child & Youth Intervention Record Check.
- Intermediate First Aid / CPR Level C Certification.
- These documents must meet Entrusts standards and are the candidate’s financial responsibility to obtain prior to hiring.

What You Need to Know
Reports to: Director, Respite and Behavioural Support.
Location and Hours of Work:
- Edmonton
- Monday to Friday.
- This position has a combination of working from the office, in residences and on-site in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary as required.
Start Date: As soon as the suitable candidate is identified. This position will be posted both internally and externally.
