Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager – AI Security Research to lead and coordinate highly technical cybersecurity research and engineering programs. The ideal candidate will combine strong cybersecurity expertise, AI/AI Security knowledge, and technical program management experience.
You will work closely with Security Research Engineers, cybersecurity teams, software engineers, architects, vendors, and leadership to drive initiatives from research and experimentation through POCs, technical evaluation, recommendations, and operationalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical programs across AI Security, Agentic AI, LLM Security, Application Security, vulnerability research, and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
- Manage and coordinate highly technical AI security research and engineering teams.
- Drive initiatives through research → prototype → testing → benchmarking → recommendation → operationalization.
- Establish program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, priorities, and success criteria.
- Coordinate development and evaluation of AI security harnesses, AI red teaming, security automation, and AI-native security capabilities.
- Work with engineering teams using AI agents, LLMs, APIs, cloud platforms, containers, and security tools.
- Lead cybersecurity product/vendor evaluations, POCs, technical due diligence, benchmarking, and architecture reviews.
- Translate complex technical research into clear enterprise recommendations and decision materials.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, application security, infrastructure, cloud, architecture, and research.
- Present technical findings, program status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong Cybersecurity background.
- Strong Technical Program Management / Project Management experience.
- Hands-on or strong technical understanding of AI, AI Security, LLMs, or Agentic AI.
- Experience managing or coordinating cybersecurity engineering, research, software development, or AI programs.
- Strong understanding of APIs, cloud technologies, containers, and security automation.
- Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineers and security researchers.
- Strong communication, technical documentation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
