Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant
St. Marguerite Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4 School
St. Marguerite Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.
The assignment is for a Kindergarten EA to work Tuesday and Thursdays and some Fridays as soon as possible and end June 30, 2027 of the 2026-2027 school year.
Salary range $20.74 - $29.32 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Preference Given To Candidates With The Following Qualifications
- Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
- Experience working with students with diverse needs
- Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
- Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
- Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
- Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
