effective ASAP to December 22, 2026
Riverton Early Middle School
5.75hr/day Temporary Educational Assistant 8:45am-3:30pm
(1 hour lunch)
Ability, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Para Educator Certificate desired
- Relevant training and experience
- Course work in behavior management
- Demonstrable computer/technology skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract
Responsibilities May Include
- Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally
- Assisting with communication and speech-language activities
- Supporting individualized student programming
- Supervising and accompanying students during field trips or off-site work/recreational experiences.
- Assisting with supervision and daily routines
- Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
- Supporting student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required
Salary: According to the Collective Agreement
