Company Description Evolution Physiotherapy is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic serving communities in Edmonton and Spruce Grove, Alberta. Clinicians treat a broad range of conditions, including sports, motor vehicle, and workplace injuries, neck and back pain, joint and muscle issues, pelvic health concerns, concussion and vestibular conditions, and TMJ-related problems. Services may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling/IMS, shockwave therapy, traction, and other individualized approaches. Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Spruce Grove, AB. The Registered Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing manual therapy and exercise prescription, applying modalities such as dry needling/IMS and shockwave therapy where appropriate, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards. The role involves collaborating with other rehabilitation professionals, educating patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies, and participating in case discussions and clinical meetings. The physiotherapist is expected to contribute to a positive clinic culture, maintain high standards of professional practice, and support ongoing quality improvement and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (or eligibility for registration), and completion of an accredited Physiotherapy degree program.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills in musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy, including experience with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
- Experience or training in specialized modalities such as dry needling/IMS, shockwave therapy, traction, or vestibular rehabilitation is an asset.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, including sports injuries, workplace and motor vehicle accident injuries, pelvic health concerns, concussion, and TMJ-related conditions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient education, interprofessional collaboration, and building therapeutic relationships.
- Solid clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and participation in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Comfort working in an on-site clinic setting, with flexibility to adapt to patient needs and clinic scheduling requirements.
