Original job description

Company Overview

exacare ai is a leading health tech company on a mission to build the AI operating system for post-acute care. Our platform turns messy, unstructured referral packets into clear clinical insights and next steps, so teams can make faster, safer placement decisions with less administrative burden. Today, exacare ai powers more than 2,500 facilities, and is growing rapidly.

We recently raised a $30M Series A led by Insight Partners, and are bringing world-class talent together to transform healthcare. If you like building, learning, and want to make a real impact, come join us!

About the Role

We’re hiring a GTM Engineer to join our GTM Operations team. This is a true builder-first role: you will own our GTM technical stack, data and context layers, and the orchestration that underpins our go-to-market engine. Your job will be to build the data and workflows that help our GTM teams find the right accounts, understand them, and act at the right time.

We're looking for someone highly technical with experience in a GTM setting. The ideal candidate can take insights from our Sales, Growth, and GTM teams, think through what system, data, and infrastructure should exist, and then build and maintain that solution in a way that scales. Our CRM is an important part of the technical stack, but the job extends beyond CRM configuration or maintenance.

This is a low ego, high output environment. You’re the kind of person who loves building from scratch, truly understanding problems at their core, always wants to learn, and most importantly, wants to have fun while making a real impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own the technical stack: Connect and improve the systems behind our GTM motion, including our CRM, enrichment providers, conversation intelligence, and outbound tools. Decide what to buy, build, or assemble.
  • Build reliable GTM data foundations: Create trustworthy account, facility, contact, and activity data for Sales and Growth. Build the integrations, data models, and pipelines needed to connect activity across systems.
  • Build and maintain our GTM context layer: Turn our customer insights, competitive knowledge, and 1st party data into structured context that our team and AI workflows can use. Build a practical process for keeping it current as we learn from calls, campaigns, and deal outcomes.
  • Deepen our data enrichment and GTM signals: Find the market, customer, and behavioral signals that help us identify which accounts to prioritize and when to act. Go beyond standard data providers where our market demands it (e.g., custom scrapers, etc.), and test whether each signal leads to better targeting or qualified pipeline.
  • Support data-led growth tactics: Partner with Growth and Sales to turn data (1st, 2nd, and 3rd party) into experiments, targeted campaigns, and timely rep action. Help move promising ideas from a one-off test into a repeatable system.
  • Build internal tools for how people actually work: Work closely with BDRs, AEs, and GTM Ops to understand where research, handoffs, and follow-up break down, and build any internal tools or interfaces that help to solve the problem.
  • Automate work across the GTM stack: Build workflows across our entire GTM engine, including account research, prioritization, routing, rep preparation, personalization, and other repeatable work.

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant experience: 1+ years of experience in GTM engineering or similar GTM / RevOps roles, with ideally 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS (sales-led preferred). Analytics engineering, data science, or engineering backgrounds are a plus.
  • A track record of building GTM systems: You’ve built and operated data pipelines, integrations, automations, or internal tools in a B2B GTM environment. You can show us what you built, why you built it, and what business outcome it improved (or learning).
  • Strong data fundamentals: You’re comfortable using SQL and Python or JavaScript to work with messy data. You understand data models, identifiers, transformations, deduplication, and entity resolution well enough to make account and contact data reliable across systems.
  • Hands-on integration experience: You’ve connected tools through APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms such as Clay, n8n, etc. You know how to handle authentication, rate limits, failures, and monitoring so a workflow keeps working after launch.
  • Depth in enrichment and signals: You’ve built or maintained account and contact datasets using multiple sources (or web scrapers). You know how to assess coverage and accuracy, uncover useful signals, and get them into the hands of people who can act on them.
  • Practical AI fluency: You’ve built AI-powered workflows for work such as research, classification, or personalization. You understand how to supply useful context, evaluate output quality, and decide where human review is needed.
  • Commercial judgment and ownership: You work closely with Sales, Growth, and GTM Ops to understand how people actually work, translate their problems into practical systems, and prioritize what will have the greatest impact. You test quickly, pay attention to the details, and take responsibility for what gets built.
  • Low ego, high output: You ship, you iterate, you’re direct and collaborative, and you don’t need perfect conditions to make progress (+ you want to have fun while working).

Benefits + Perks

  • Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth startup
  • Flexible PTO, take what you need
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Great startup culture, including company off-sites
  • High-achieving team, including ex-FAANG engineers and alumni of Bain, BCG, Goldman Sachs, and more

An insight into our Core Values

Only the Best Belong Here

We are unapologetic about talent. This should be the best team you have ever been on. Protecting that standard is how we honor each other’s time, ambition, and craft.

We work even harder to keep our partners than we did to earn them initially

The work does not stop when a customer first onboards to our platform. It deepens over time. We partner with operators, listening and learning about real problems, and translate that into solutions that help them succeed in practice. We earn trust through consistent delivery.

We keep the patient downstream of every decision

At the end of the day, this is about the patient. We get there by deeply respecting and reflecting on our purpose: to develop software that aids teams in delivering better care.

Raise the Bar on Ownership

We grow because people here go beyond the minimum. We invest extra effort, care, and ownership into what we build.

The World is Moving Fast. We move Faster.

This is a race. We work hard, we move early, and we stay ahead of problems and competitors. If we slow down, someone else will pass us.

Radical Candor, Zero Politics.

We say what’s true, early, and we keep communication direct and clean so the team can move.

Bring Good Vibes and Win Together

We win as a team. We bring energy, support each other, and make the workplace somewhere people are excited to show up to.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to have a chat!
